THUNDER is tough because the issues are so long. Here is an unlikely 4 volume arrangement. Moving a few stories around could result in a small sized volume 5. Reprints from the later volumes are removed and covers and pin-ups are included. -ScottTHUNDER AGENTS ARCHIVE V.1 (232 pages) -THUNDER Agents 1 (11/65, 61 pages) W. Wood, R. Crandall, G. Kane, G. Neither DC nor John Carbonaro have said anything about including the stories from Dynamo and Noman. I hope they do since the continuity, in Dynamo at least, has important consequences in the main title. Here is an arrangement with the solo issues included. -ScottTHUNDER AGENTS ARCHIVE V.1 (232 pages) -THUNDER Agents 1 (11/65, 61 pages) W. Wood, R. Crandall, G. Kane, G. Tuska, M. Esposito, M. It would seem strange to embark on a Thunder Agents archive project without including Dynamo, Noman and Undersea Agent. That would be as bizarre and arbitrary as archiving Legion of Super Heroes without including Karate Kid's solo run. No, hang on, I need to go and rethink this post... IP: Logged |

Dude, from the original press release still on the Thunder Agents web site: "Future volumes will continue to collect issues of T.H.U.N.D.E.R. AGENTS™, along with its companion titles DYNAMO and NOMAN." Nothing about Undersea Agents, tho'. - Bill

Do you guys mean A. The deal with DC doesn't include Undersea Agent or B. Undersea Agent is really bad and shouldn't be Archived?IP: Logged |

My position would be B. More precisely, since I don't want to deny anyone the opportunity to buy an archive of their favorite character, I'll just say that this would fall into the category of Archives I Wouldn't Buy. And I'd bet that sales would be godawful.IP: Logged |

Scott nailed the contents to Vol. 2 in his second list- TA #5-7 and Dynamo #1. I guess this confirms that they're going to intersperse the solo comics in with the main title.------------------ Visit the Marvel Masterworks fansite and Message Board: Go to www.marvelmasterworks.freeservers.com IP: Logged |

Volume 2 includes some of the best stories in the whole run. It should be another excellent archive.I never responded to Undersea Agent with the same enthusiasm as I had for the 3 core titles. One reason might be that Samm Schwartz was the force behind the title rather that W. Wood. The stories tended to be more juvenile and had considerably less zip. Visually however there were some high points. Gil Kane's stories & covers were beautiful, some more Manny Stallman (an aquired taste, I admit) and one Wood cover (his only contribution to UA). Ray Bailey was a Caniff assistant doing a lukewarm "Caniff school" on most stories. Some nice art, but not very dynamic compared to the other Tower titles. I suspect I might like a archive of UA someday, but do not see it as a priority. -Scott IP: Logged |

So maybe we could convince DC to do it as a trade? John who has heard talk of that concept to help the fans and will know more down the road. IP: Logged |

Hey, Scott......going to move your archive chronology over to the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents board? (Figure I'll give you the opportunity!)
